Route Planning
Want to cruise but not sure how to plan? Let Captain Kym plan your route with waypoints, anchorages and marinas to stop at for rest, fuel, and food, travel times, fuel needed, and\or routes based on prevailing winds.
Learn Your New Vessel
In this training, one of our captains will answer the questions you have about your vessel and her systems, help you develop a personalized vessel safety checklist for underways, develop a maintenance schedule for your vessel, and teach you proper operational procedures.
$125 per hour
Float Plan Contact
Your float plan contact is your primary safety contact. I will track your progress, alert authorities if you have a safety issue, and give you real time suggestions for your route, and suggest stops for supplies along your route, and be available to call if you have other issues while on your trip.
Boater Safety Class- NJ
This 8 hour in-person class will teach you the basics of safety on the water. As soon as you pass the test at the end of class, you are legally able to operate a boat on NJ tidal waters. Your official boater safety card arrives through the mail to your home.

Navigation Classes
Want to finally learn how to navigate? With this class you will learn how to plot a safe course, account for current and wind, determine ETA, travel time, and departure time, how to take bearings to get fixes, and how to use your electronic chart plotter.
